Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy (VCPC), a 501(c)3 organization, was incorporated in 2009 as a public/private partnership with NYC Parks. Modeled after successful non-profit organizations that have shepherded the transformation of Central Park and Prospect Park, VCPC provides educational and cultural programming as well as staffing to enhance the Park's woodlands, fields, playgrounds, and ball fields.
